Responsibilities:
EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Program Development Attends and participates in all required meetings, activities, pre-service and in-service training that includes but is not limited to 30 hours of professional development and methods that comply with applicable State and local laws for identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect.
Remains up-to-date on information that pertains to the needs of the children in the program including child care licensing regulations and other applicable regulations and practices.
Works as a team member with the other education staff, parents and Parent Committee members to develop curriculum that is meaningful and meets the individual and program needs.
Responsible for the weekly preparation of daily lesson plans, which includes objectives to be posted for parents, volunteers and visitors in the classroom.
Prepares and maintains a safe, healthy learning environment for children that is positive, developmentally appropriate and experientially-based.
Provides sufficient and appropriate outdoor time daily for children (see Operations Manual for specifics).
Dresses in clothing which is appropriate for outdoor activity and all-weather conditions.
Works closely with transitional programs, as appropriate, for shared activities, registration, and smooth transition.
Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of the job.

Assist in the implementation of the child care program in accordance with the policies, procedures, and philosophy of Garden's Day Care program.
2.
Maintain the confidentiality of information about children and their families.
3.
Assist in providing for the physical needs of children (such as feeding, dressing, sleeping, washing, and other activities) 4.
Ensure the safety and well-being of Gardens children at all times.
5.
Work cooperatively with staff to implement curriculum and create age-appropriate weekly lesson plans.
6.
Assist with the preparation and serving of daily meals.
7.
Maintain program equipment, materials, and supplies and perform housekeeping duties as directed.
8.
Assist with accurate and complete documentation of child records and files.
9.
Participate in program and agency staff meetings when appropriate.
10.
Assist with the assessment of individual children's needs.
11.
Assist with planning, setup, implementation, and cleanup of child care activities.
12.
Attend and participate in required training sessions.
13.
Maintain composure and attitude that is positive and sensitive to children and their families.
14.
All other tasks and responsibilities as assigned and required by program goals and objectives report to Director.
The position is based on Experience.

).
Good Communication Skills.
Infant/Adult CPR & First Aid certification, Fingerprints, Health and Safety course Must be able to carry out the flow of the day and curriculum.
