We are seeking a Stock Supervisor to act as the point person for maintaining and supervising all the inbound/outbound merchandise as well as the maintenance and organization of all back of house stock and supply areas.
Responsibilities Management of stock staff to maximize productivity.
Full knowledge of all shipping and receiving procedures and paperwork distribution.
Oversee and confirm all receipts, deliveries, outgoing packages, both retail and non-retail.
Merchandise received directly from vendors.
Inter-store transfers, RTVs and damages.
Client purchases, consignments, charge sends to other locations.
PR/Visual deliveries.
Dry cleaning coordination from tailor shop.
Boutique materials, supplies and packaging supplies.
Maintain comprehensive logs for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Input and process all authorized merchandise into inventory through the Computer System.
All incoming within 2 working days of receipt.
Outgoing same day.
Damages with General Manager approval, monthly to New York Warehouse.
RTV's within 48 hours after confirmed approval from Buyer.
Orders all shipping and packaging supplies with General Manager's approval.
Maintains loss prevention standards through awareness and adherence to Store policies.
Role in controlling shortage through inventory management.
Proper ticketing and censoring standards.
48-hour response to ticket requests.
Immediate processing and forwarding of paperwork to Corporate.
File maintenance.
Spot inventories.
Overall organization and attention to detail.
Immediate response to Corporate regarding discrepancies, missing documentation, etc.
Involvement in biannual store inventory as directed by General Manager.
Participate in store maintenance.
Light handy work.
Changing of light bulbs.
Furniture moves, special event setup, etc.
Capability to receive shipments through the Merchandise System, printing tickets and other procedures that get the product to the floor as soon as possible.
Requirements Previous experience as a Stock Supervisor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible to deadlines and multi-tasking demands.
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.
