Financial Controller

Applicant will report directly to the owner, responsible for providing oversight for all financial and accounting activities.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly financial statements and analyses.
Oversees and monitors all accounting operations.
Assist with annual budget and forecasts.
Work with the annual budget.
Perform analysis and external audits for all company insurance policies Must ensure the corporation is compliant with local, state and federal government entities.
Manage accounting and office staff.
Implement processes to control AR/AP, budgeting, cost control and profitability.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related experience 5
years experience as a controller in a fast paced environment Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software Strong computer skills to include but not limited to QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, Google.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.
Possess a confident, professional demeanor, and composure within a very busy environment.
Ability to demonstrate effectiveness in written and verbal communication skills.
Strong skills including accounting, payroll, treasury, AR/AP and credit.
